The birth of a human food quality seaweed ingredient

Over the past two decades, Seagreens® has turned a simple idea into a reality.

The idea was for all of us to get at least a gram of the most nutritious seaweed into our daily diet.

Enough to fill significant nutritional gaps in the modern diet, especially the deficient micronutrients.

In Norway and Britain, we pioneered Europe's first harvesting and production of seaweed ingredients for human nutrition, at an affordable cost.

Today we harvest our uniquely certified wild seaweeds in remote locations where the total process from seaweed selection to final product is supervised to the world's highest standard, sending valuable exports overseas.

Seagreens® food and nutrition ingredients are free from harmful allergens, contaminants, toxins and microbial pathogens, irradiation, GMOs, and manufacturing incipients.

Nothing is added or extracted, and all our nutrition studies are conducted on the whole seaweed - not 'extracts'!

This independent, applied nutrition research is published in international peer-reviewed scientific journals.

We are happily endorsed by nutritionists, medical and dental practitioners and health and food societies in Europe and North America.
